Since our company was founded, we have emphasized live, hands-on workshops as the core of our learning model. These workshops allow students to get practical experience and apply what they have learned in a real-world setting. Our workshops are also interactive, which allows for a more engaging and immersive learning experience. We believe that this hands-on approach is one of the most effective ways for students to develop their skills and knowledge in a variety of technical fields.
This spring, we have made a strong effort to diversify and expand the range of our workshop offerings. In addition to our established workshops, we have added a diverse selection of new ones that cover a wide range of subjects. These new workshops range from game development to machine learning, and cater to students of all skill levels - from beginners just starting out on their tech education journey to experienced professionals looking to advance their skills. We believe that our expanded workshop offerings will have something for everyone, and we can't wait to see you at one of our upcoming sessions! Here's a rundown of what we'll be offering:
This workshop will introduce students to the key concepts of machine learning, artificial intelligence, computer science, data mining, and natural language processing. By the end, students will have the skills to develop algorithms and create a simple game using these techniques. This could be helpful for anyone interested in data analysis, predictive modeling, or building intelligent systems.
In this workshop, students will gain a solid understanding of C++ programming as an object-oriented language with modern features. In addition to learning the basic concepts of C++, students will be able to apply their knowledge by designing and creating real-world applications. For these reasons, this workshop can be useful for anyone interested in game development, software engineering, or any other field that involves C++ programming.
Through a combination of lectures and hands-on exercises, students with little-to-no coding experience will learn the basics of Java, including variables, data types, strings, conditionals, iteration, and functions. Fields such as mobile app development and software engineering will be opened through our workshop.
In this workshop, students will learn the basics of web development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Students will create and edit web pages using basic HTML tags and syntax, use CSS to style and layout web pages, and use JavaScript to add simple interactivity to web pages. The skillset we provide can be helpful for anyone interested in building their own website, creating online content, or pursuing a career in web development.
In this workshop, students with little-to-no coding experience will learn the basics of python including variables, conditionals, iteration, and functions, then apply their knowledge by designing and creating a complex game using various libraries and frameworks. Our elementary knowledge given here is for anyone interested in game development, data analysis, or really a secure pathway to the eclectic scope of opportunities Python provides.
In this workshop, students will learn about the key concepts and techniques used in UI design, including layout, typography, color theory, and user experience. In addition to gaining a strong theoretical understanding of these topics, students will be able to practice through hands-on projects and exercises. This is why this workshop can be useful for anyone interested in mobile app development, UI design, or any other field that involves creating user interfaces.
These workshops are designed to be accessible to students of all levels, so whether you're just starting out or have been studying a particular subject for a while, you'll be able to find a workshop that's right for you. Each workshop is offered one or two times between January and June, so you'll have the opportunity to take the workshop at least once. We understand that everyone has different schedules and commitments, so we try to offer a range of dates and times to accommodate as many students as possible. All of our workshops are held virtually, which means that you'll be able to participate from anywhere as long as you have an internet connection. This can be a convenient way to learn, as you won't have to worry about commuting to a physical location.
Our curriculum developers are constantly working to create the best possible learning experience for our students. In addition to creating our workshop curriculum, they are hard at work creating tutorial videos and other resources that students can access outside of the virtual classroom. These extra materials can be helpful for reinforcing what you've learned during the workshop and for getting additional practice. More updates on these additional resources soon!
